Privacy Policy
Draft Courier is a macOS application that helps a user send messages already saved in the user’s Gmail Drafts folder. This policy explains what information the application accesses and how it is handled.
Information accessed from Google
After the user grants permission, Draft Courier may access the user’s Gmail account email address, Gmail draft identifiers, prepared draft messages, and information necessary to send those drafts. The application requests only permissions required for its visible Gmail drafting and sending features.
How information is used
Google user data is used only to provide the features the user initiates: identifying the connected Gmail account, finding prepared drafts, sending drafts at the selected pace, confirming successful sends, and presenting local sending statistics.
Storage and security
- Google refresh tokens are stored in Apple’s macOS Keychain.
- Account configuration, sending queues, and statistics are stored in the user’s local Application Support folder.
- Draft Courier does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
- Draft Courier does not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Chrome and HubSpot mode
If the user enables the optional HubSpot mode, Draft Courier interacts with Gmail and the user’s installed HubSpot Sales extension inside the selected local Google Chrome profile. This feature may cause data to be processed by Google, HubSpot, and Chrome under the user’s existing relationships and privacy settings with those services. Draft Courier does not receive that information on a developer-operated server.
Sharing
Draft Courier does not transfer Gmail message content or Google authorization tokens to the Draft Courier developer, data brokers, advertising networks, or unrelated third parties. Information may be disclosed only when required by law or when the user intentionally provides diagnostic information for support.
Google API Limited Use disclosure
Draft Courier’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Information remains locally on the user’s Mac until the user disconnects an account or removes the application’s local data. Instructions are available on the Data Deletion page. Information voluntarily submitted for customer support is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and meet legal obligations.
Children
Draft Courier is a business productivity application and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
This policy may be updated as Draft Courier develops. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
